Cellars Madaudo were established in 1945 by grandfather Alfio. His passion for wine led him to specialize in the production of quality wines cultivating only native Sicilian grapes. Over the years the company has invested in human resources, professionalism, technology, marketing and communication, but the “mission” of Cantine Madaudo remains unchanged: Pull the highest quality from the fertile lands of Sicily.
The winery currently produces several collections of wines from IGT to DOC, DOCG, sparkling wines.
The Camporè Vineyards in Randazzo on the north side of Etna, 765 m above sea level, are run by the Madaudo Family, along with the staff of the estate, to make good wine in harmony with the generous nature that surrounds them. Located on a prehistoric lava flow, this soil and the climatic condition are perfect for growing Nerello Mascalese and Carricante.
Barone di Bernaj
